Overview

Join us at Polowood for a day of Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, Axe Throwing and Air Rifles target shooting. Our ground is set over ten acres of woodland on the South Downs. We ensure that you will have the full attention of our qualified and experienced instructors by using our pre-booking services.

We provide our services to Gun Clubs, Shooting Groups, Novice Shooters, Stag Parties, Hen Parties, Corporate Groups, Schools, Colleges and Birthday Events. Our group sizes range from two to forty people

Refreshments and toilet facilities are also available on site.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Join us at Polowood Shooting Ground for the ultimate Taster Session Experience. Included in this package you will get to have a 25 Bird Clay Shooting Session, a one hour Archery Experience, a one hour Axe Throwing Session and one hour of Air Rifle Shooting. This is the the ultimate day out for those looking for fun and adventure.

    As a mixed adult family of 7 this was our first visit and we did a 4 hour taster session including archery, axe throwing, air rifle and clay pigeon shooting. We had an amazing day. Very friendly, knowledgable and patient staff with a special mention to Nathan who was superb! Safety was a priority but it didn’t take away from the fun and a bit of healthy competition. Would highly recommend!

    Great family day out, friendly professional people, tried Axe and knife throwing , also clay pigeon shooting but my favourite was rifle range, archery was a good experience but didn’t hit the target much, it’s a must go, great location views amazing, Put it on your bucket list, the experts are so friendly and professional.

    Amazing experience! Certainly worth it if you think you might be interested in this! All instructors are incredibly friendly, approachable, and clearly experience. We tried each activity, and they manage the times perfectly, as it never felt rushed nor that it was talking too long The competitive element of the taster session also add an extra touch to the experience. Would highly recommend

    Great experience, wonderful staff! We celebrated an early birthday with the taster session, which was perfect as the range of activities ensured that everyone had a few things they were good at. I ended up scoring last in a friendly competition within our group of 4 and still had a blast :) Special shoutout to the staff - Jack, Pip, and Gabe; you guys made our day! Everyone was super friendly, professional, funny, and made the whole day very memorable. Would highly recommend! :)

    Fantastic day at Polowood. Thanks to all the staff for accommodating us, as we hadn’t booked for extra activities. Ron had a brilliant day and now wants a shotgun. See you all again in October………. Jack, Matt will bring you some Jerky!!!!
