Overview

Departing Broome flying over the beautiful turquoise waters of Roebuck Bay, the Fitzroy River, the Napier Range, Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges, heading to the East Kimberley.
Fly around the Bungle Bungle Massif, before landing at the Bellburn airstrip.
On arrival, your local Gija tour guide from Kingfisher Tours, will welcome you to country, enjoy fresh damper, before travelling to the beehives in an air-conditioned 4WD bus with stops along the way for spectacular photo opportunities.
Enjoy a moderate 3km guided walk amongst the famous black and orange banded beehive structures on the domes walk.
Enjoy a walk into the awe-inspiring Cathedral Gorge and then the Lookout. A light pack is provided with your drinks and lunch to be enjoyed in Cathedral Gorge, whilst your Gija guide sings the ancient songs of her country.
There is time for a beer or wine before the scenic flight back to Broome.
On your flight to Broome, fly over the Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges, Devonian Reef.

    We had a wonderful day trip to the Bungle Bungles, and our pilot Akrem was both very knowledgeable and professional. This was our second tour with Air Kimberley and we would highly recommend them.

    This was a long day even for flying Memorable trip to the Bungle Bungles.Our walk into Cathedral Gorge led by our local guide Bec was fantastic.She was considerate of our needs,and paced the walk accordingly. Her beautiful singing in The Cathedral Gorge was amazing Great flight by Akrem for Kimberley Air.We did feel with the length of time in the plane,a more spacious plane would have been better(and appreciated by our legs!)

    The pilot was amazing. His knowledge of the journey, of all sites, was interesting and informative. He took a personal interest in our backgrounds and kept a good conversation at all times. He took good care us and others in assisting with our needs and comfort. However, the plane was too small and uncomfortable, with no leg room and hard seating. 10/10 for pilot, 4/10 for the plane. Suggestion, less drinks to lighten the load .e.g. just 1 litre water per person carrying.

    We had a wonderful day, with Flynn as our pilot. He was careful to explain what was happening concerning the flight logistics, took good care of us, and was interesting and entertaining with his descriptions of what we were seeing. On the ground at the Bungle Bungles, Bec led us on a walk into Cathedral Gorge. She shared some of her culture and knowledge, and sang some special songs in the magnificent acoustics of the Gorge. And very kindly loaned a hat, as I had foolishly left mine in the pickup bus. Thank you so much for that Bec, but especially for your sharing. We saw some of the beautiful and interesting works of nature, whilst learning a lot, in a day to remember. Well catered, especially with regard to water. Plane a little squishy for the long day but the experience so worth it. Remember your hat and sunscreen!

    Awesome Emily, Flynn, and Beck were fantastic and very informative, the scenery was spectacular, the food and drinks were great, the commentary and culture sharing was amazing.
