Our family had never been surfing before but felt a surf lesson in Byron Bay was a must for our making memories australia trip. We booked with Lets Go Surfing because the reviews were great and they were not wrong. We were super lucky to have Ava as our teacher. She was so patient, informative, encouraging and when we finally managed to stand up she was just as elated as we were! Our eldest has definitely found a love of surfing so I doubt this will be our last venture out in the surf! Thank you Ava & Lets Go Surfing Byron Bay! 🏄‍♂️ 🏄‍♂️ 🏄‍♀️ 🏄‍♂️

Amazing experience to surf in Byron Bay with Let's Go surfing! Excelent surf coaches, always very friendly and professional, and willing to find the best surf spot for each day. Thank you very much Toby, Dan, Lucas and Ava! You were great. Special thanks to the incredible Ava, who besides being a wonderful buddy on the water, was also the best tour guide, with the best playlist!

Jade was an excellent instructor! She payed great attention and offered very specific feedback. The only reason I have given this a 3 star is because of the group size. I did tons of research and selected this option because they advertised a maximum of 6 people on the activity. When we got to the meeting point, we were disappointed to see there were 11 people in the group. This made it very challenging as there were 11 people learning to surf in a small area in the ocean; we were all constantly in each others way and having to bail out of waves to avoid running into each other.
