Stop At: Peyto Lake, Icefield Parkway, Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta Canada
The ever-changing colors are the most famous scenery of Peyto Lake. The high-density glacial minerals in the water make the lake appear as if the waves are frozen at the edge, often leaving visitors questioning the reality of the water. The lake's colors can change with the seasons or weather, earning it the reputation as one of the representative lakes of the Rocky Mountains. *If not accessible, it will be replaced with Waterfowl Lake
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Crowfoot Glacier, Improvement District No. 9, Banff National Park, Alberta Canada
Because, when initially discovered, the glacier had three ice masses resembling the claws of a crow, it was named accordingly. Unfortunately, due to climate change, one of the claws melted and collapsed in the early 20th century. Currently, only the remaining two claws are visible, serving as a compelling testament to the impact of the Earth's greenhouse effect.

Had the great pleasure of taking this tour in the 1st week of June 2022. had a great 1st day in Banff with driver and tour guide Allen! Day 2-5 with Driver and Tour Guide Jessie! All tour guides were able to speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Well organized and gave plenty of time for seniors and other tour people who are slower and just need more time. The hotels were nice, I've upgraded my hotels for the Fairmount options( need well in advance and they have to find it). Was told I could contact the tour company in advance to organize my own package and ake many days needed for the tours. Would do this next time. WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING IN BANFF AN EXTRA DAY OR 2, STAY LAKE LOUISE extra DAY or 2 at the Fairmount Lake Louise. When the tours leave in the afternoon, the lake is available to the guests only, a calm lake, and lots of time to do activities and take unobstructed photos. The only issue I had with the tour is that there are hotel drop-offs each day f the tour. Big tour bus lots of people and different hotels. At one hotel the road was closed to buses so had taken over 30mins to drop guests off. A whole bus of 20 people just sat there. This time could be allocated to more time for passengers to spend in Banff, rather than sit in a parking lot in Banff and not able to leave without fear f a bus leaving without them. Would also have liked to know which lakes were closed and what excursions were canceled ahead of time. June is unpredictable but you should've known the week before and informed the guest. No lake Maligne cruise ( was refunded BUT would have like to know). Lake Morriane was closed. Again, only had 5 mins at the skywalk as some people took too long on the glacier and the tour company there brought us back to the center and rearranged to bring us to the skywalk. That was a rush but I'm still younger so I could run it, the older people just decided not to go. The free lunch upgrade to the buffet was nice. Overall, Take the time to contact the company for extra stay days and do day tours to make your own package and STAY AT THE FAIRMOUNT LAKE LOUISE and enjoy the scenic views on your way up to jasper!

The tour guide Jess is very organized and polite. The hotels the company chose are above my expectations. The tour is very interesting, as that is a combination of three tours (Banff, Lake Louise & Yoho, Jasper). This way, the tour can be run in any sequence and have great flexibility. Of course, there are things beyond the tour company's control (some lakes are still icy, and sometimes the sky is too cloudy to see certain attractions). I am very satisfied with Calgary Tours, the team working behind the scene to coordinate everything (I got prompt response at late night!), and Jess. I definitely will recommend them.
