Itinerary
Day 1: Cape Town to Oudtshoorn: Cango Caves and Buffelsdrift Bush Safari Game Drive
Stop At: Cape Town Central, Cape Town Central, Western Cape
Pick-up will commence between 06:00 and 06:30am from your accommodation in Cape Town and surrounds. We will depart Cape Town for Hermanus to take the whale-watching boat trip from New Harbour for 2-hours. We will travel for approximately 1.5 hours.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Southern Right Charters, The Whale Shack New Harbour, Hermanus, 7200, South Africa
Upon our arrival at New Harbour, we will check in at the base and set sail on the 9:00 am boat trip to the location where the whales can be seen up close.
We will be on the water for approximately 2-hours enjoying close encounters with the Southern Right Whales from the boat. Take plenty of photos under the guidance of your experienced crew members. Kindly note that this activity is weather-permitting and dependent on nature. In this case, we will walk along the boardwalk to spot some whales from the shoreline. However, sightings are not guaranteed.
This experience is only available from mid-June to the end of November annually.

After our exciting encounter with the whales, we will stop for lunch at Burgundy Restaurant overlooking the ocean. (Food only, is included up to R300,00 per person)

Stop At: Buffelsdrift Game Lodge, Cango Caves Road, F7C2+FW, Oudtshoorn, 6620, South Africa
Arriving at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge you will check in at your lodge room before returning to the main area to meet your game ranger for your afternoon safari game drive.
Enjoy a 2-hour game drive including a stop for sundowners along the way and be on the lookout for lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe, antelope, hippos, etc.
After your game drives, enjoy dinner before retiring to your lodge room overnight at Garden Route Game Lodge.

• Dinner: Dinner will be enjoyed Buffelsdrift Game Lodge.

Day 2: Buffelsdrift Game Lodge and Cango Caves
Stop At: Buffelsdrift Game Lodge, Cango Caves Road, F7C2+FW, Oudtshoorn, 6620, South Africa
Wake up to the sound of wildlife in the African Bush for your early morning safari game drive followed by a hearty breakfast at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge restaurant.
Thereafter guests will check out from their accommodation and proceed to Oudtshoorn for the Cango Caves experience. (Travelling time is approximately 2 hours)

Stop At: The Cango Caves, 328 Approximately 30km (19 miles) from town on the R, Oudtshoorn 6625 South Africa
After our early morning game drive, breakfast and check out, we will travel to the Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn. Here we will enjoy the Heritage Walking tour for 1 hour. The Cango Caves is one of the biggest attractions on the GArden Route and is not to be missed.

At the end of our amazing experience, we will depart Oudtshoorn for Cape Town with comfort stops along the way for restrooms and an optional takeaway lunch for your own account. We will reach Cape Town by approximately 19:00 pm.
