We all had a fantastic time driving and seeing all the sights on the Garden Route. Our guide, Mawande, did a superb job making sure we had time to do the things we wanted to do - plus point out numerous scenic views and other attractions that we weren’t fully aware of. Mawande also briefed us on many aspects of local life - which was very much appreciated. There’s a huge difference in tacking a tour like this versus hiring a car and missing so much!

I had an amazing 4 day tour with Mawande as our guide. He was so knowledgeable and shared so much about his country. He made our whole group feel comfortable around each other instantly, which as a solo female traveller I really appreciated. I couldn't recommend this tour and Mawande enough.

Definitely go on this tour! Mawande was an excellent guide providing history and background of the regions we traveled. We toured in a van with 8 other people from around the world, making our group very interesting. The sights, meals, and companionship was great! Fed elephants and ostriches, saw all of "The Big Five" plus giraffes, a hyena, a jackal, monkeys, different types of deer, a warthog with a baby, and a variety of birds. Toured an Ostrich farm and the Conga Caves. The Lodge with the huts were amazing...great service, lodging, food, and awesome safaris! The only suggestion I have is that the tour company provide microphones for the guides. My sister and I were in the back seats and could hear very little. No fault of Mawande! He was an exceptional guide and you felt like you had made a friend!

Our guide, Mawande, is a very polite and a well organised guide. He acts responsible for the whole group and is flexible to change the schedule to feed everybody’s needs. He is an amazing driver and makes sure to get everyone safely to the next destination. The knowledge he has about the area is astonishing. Every question we asked he had an answer to. During the ride he shares a lot of information about the areas you pass. We are very thankful to him for making this trip so amazing.
