Driver was extremely informative about South Africa and the challenges facing the country. Enjoyed seeing the sights as we made down to the bottom of the continent

Although the journey to Cape Agulhas was long, Seeing the southern most tip of Africa was most memorable. The vehicle was a very comfortable BMW with lots of leg and head room. We also got to see Baboons and made a stop to peer at the penguins along the way. It was an amazing tour. Thanks Marshal !

We had an amazing experience that exceeded all our expectations. Ruben, our tour guide was warm and excited to show us all the interesting places, and helped us to take lots of photos. He was very knowledgeable and enriched the trip and our overall experience by providing a rich background and context to all the places we visited. Can't wait to do this again.

This was incredibly disappointing and not at all as advertised. I booked the Cape Agulhas tour through their website, and this tour is marketed as a full day tour, with stops at Cape Agulhas, a visit to the Agulhas lighthouse, a drive through Hermanus and Standford, and finally the stony point penguin colony. This would be worth the hefty price tag they ask for this. The pick up went well, according to what was planned, and the drive to Cape Agulhas was beautiful, albeit terrifying, as the tour guide drove incredibly fast (up to 150 km/hr), constantly overtaking several cars. At the Cape we walked to the place where you can take the pictures, after which we walked back to the car and the guide started to discuss lunch options. When I asked about the lighthouse, he dismissed me and said it was closed. We drove straight to Hermanus, where we had lunch, during which the guide started talking about the traffic to Cape Town, and that we should go soon to beat the traffic. When I then asked about Stony Point, he again dismissed my question with a shake of the head and the words: no, closed. A quick google search showed that in fact both the lighthouse and stony point were open, and even if this was outdated and they were indeed closed, it should not have been advertised and priced as a full day tour with this itinerary, as it’s just not worth it. Instead of a full day tour, we took a picture at Cape Agulhas and had lunch at Hermanus. We were back in Cape Town at 4 pm. I tried to contact their office to let them know this is not okay, but I could not reach them, and never received a reply to my email. Again, very disappointing and not worth the money.

This was an EXCELLENT tour! Reagan Kuba was our private guide and couldn’t have been better. He was knowledgeable, friendly, held great conversations, drove safely, and made this tour feel extra special. We touched the waters of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, straddled the meeting of the waters, climbed the lighthouse, enjoyed a delicious lunch at a waterfront restaurant Reagan recommended, saw a colony of penguins, made photo stops along the way, and he took us back home following the beachfront coast. We opted out of wine tasting, as we had been to the wine farms previously. When I’m So Africa, make this a part of your itinerary. A definite highlight of our trip!
