Highlights:
-Our tour starts in Hout-Bay, where we stop at the harbor, there is a opportunity to take a 45 minute boat trip to Duiker Island, home to roughly five thousand 'Cape fur seals'. (the boat trip is Optional, and costs R100.00).
Alternatively, you can get breakfast, explore the craft market or 'comb the beach'.
- Once back in the bus, we head to our second stop, which is Chapman's Peak drive. This spectacular coastal drive, with it's very interesting geology, is considered one of the best in the world. We stop to admire the view, and maybe not a bad idea to use the loo;
- We shuttle for about 30 minutes to our third stop, Which is Boulder's Beach, nestled comfortably in Simon's Town, home to SA Navy, and also, the endangered, super cute, African Penguin. After hanging out with the birds for a bit, and "swapping twitter handles with your favorite feathered friend/s";
- Cape Point Nature Reserve is next. Here, we enjoy a picnic lunch, visit the 'old Cape Point Lighthouse' and take a lovely walk to the Cape of Good Hope;
- From Cape of Good Hope, we shuttle via 'Ou kaapse weg', along the 'Cape Flats' , into the city, to drop you off at your hotel or pickup location.
