The tour was a simple walk from the waterfront to Company Gardens. However our guide Gerald combined a comprehensive world powers history of South Africa with Cape Town's own history, covering local landmarks, quarters and events. We found the tour very insightful wished we could have experienced it at the beginning of our trip instead of at the very end.

This is a wonderful introduction to Cape Town. We did it on our first day. We learnt such a lot about the history set in a world context. Gerald was entertaining and very interesting. It was also an orientation walk for us and helped us to get our bearings. Gerald was very helpful with practical information and advice. Highly recommend
