Had a fantastic time with Hike Table Mountain! I did both Kasteelsport and India Venster with Riaan, and it was a great combo as both are very different. I was apprehensive about the scrambling on India Venster but Riaan was a complete pro, guiding us on exactly where to step and how to navigate through the scrambles. Highly recommend!

My nephew and I climbed with our guide Mike who was awesome. The weather was windy and drizzly but it did not deter us or dampen our spirits. Mike was super helpful when showing us how to navigate the technical aspects of the climb and at our pace. Brilliant climb, experience and some views! Highly recommend this team of Riaan Vorster.

It was amazing, the route is a bit challenging but we felt very safe with Riian. The views are breathtaking, we came across some nooks and beautiful birds. Our guide was very knowledgeable and has some cool stories which made the hike even more fun.

We hike table mountain with Riaan as part of a 5 weeks family trip through Africa. Our Australian family consists of active teens aged 17 and 14 and two average fitness parents in our late 40s. We also hiked up with two very fit young people from Sweden. Riaan was the perfect guide for our mixed group. He kept a very engaging conversation going with us all the way up. He was able to engage our younger daughter in her interests and keep our old son entertained with quizzes and challenges. He gave us lots of information and lots of breaks for us less fit hikers. He also took beautiful family photos for us, so hard to get everyone in a good shot on a family trip, but now our best photos have been taken by Riaan. Riaan was knowledgeable, safe and entertaining. I would highly recommend him to travellers of all kinds, young and old.

The guides at Hike Table Mountain were absolutely brilliant, especially Johan. For a first time climber like myself, Johan was very encouraging and made the difficult climb very doable. There were magnificient views all along the trek, and though we took many photos, the real thing was sensational. One does need to be OK with heights and narrow ledges to tackle India Venster, especially if climbing mountains isn't your usual thing to do. But I would do it again.
