Join us on an exciting Safari Day Tour with private transfers to and from Aquila Private Game Reserve, only 2-hours drive from Cape Town. Aquila is a home to the Big Five & it is malaria free. Prepare for an early morning pick up at your accommodation as we take a scenic drive for 2-hours, traveling along the N1 national road to Aquila Game Reserve. We will pass scenic vineyard plantations and you can even stop for a wine tasting on the way back. Upon our arrival at Aquila, guests will receive a welcome drinks and be shown to the restaurant for a full buffet breakfast (Halal and Vegetarian), after breakfast we depart on a 2 to 3-hour Shared Safari Game Drive. The safari is led by an experienced game ranger who will share exciting stories and facts about the reserve and the animals. After our African Bush Safari, guests will return to the restaurant for a full buffet lunch. After lunch, you are welcome to relax on the terrace; lounge at the poolside or have a drink in the bar.

After our Aquila game reserve tour, on our way back we will stop at Fairview wine estate for a quick wine tasting and some Cape Town Cheese.

One of the best wine estate in Stellenbosch. You will have the opportunity to stop here on our way back from Aquila Game Reserve ;back to Cape Town for some Biltong & wine tasting.

Even though the name of this "tour" is Aquila Safari Game Reserve Tour, in reality the price covers ONLY the transportation to and from Cape Town (2 hours each way). Entry into the park is NOT included, but Aquila staff will not tell you that until you have already taken the tour. Then you will be charged for a full-day ticket, since you conveniently arrived in between their morning and afternoon your packages. The $120 per person charge actually doubles the price quoted by Aim Cape Tours and La Vacanza Travel. Also, the stop for wine tasting noted as part of this tour is non-existent. Our driver had no idea what we were talking about. I've used La Vacanza Travel to book tours in many different countries over the years and was a big fan. No longer. How you can promote and advertise such a blatant scam is beyond me

The place offers fr less than what it is advertised. Not all big 5 are there. And the lions are like in zoo

If you are clueless about Cape town and speak no English, and have a lot of money to spend, I would recommend this . Otherwise, I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT. Please note that the entrance fee to Aquila is NOT INCLUDED. we ended up paying way too much for a guide we did not need (although friendly). Rather go directly to Aquila's website and book there. Transport and entrance will be included and you will way less than if you take this "experience".

Our guide Amiable made the safari experience fun and memorable with his great attitude. During these difficult times of covid, businesses are limited on services and operating hours. We weren’t able to do everything listed in the tour, but it was due to early closures of the businesses. Our guide still made the experience fun and memorable. Thank you Amiable for the safe driving in heavy rain on the return trip.
