Although very interested in Nelson Mandela, I did not find the tour so interesting and it was expensive. The bus guide spoke as if reading from a book with no expression. The prison guide left little time to peruse the info.

I m so upset your service charge $67. The office website only $33. You didn’t have any extra service. The price is double. I would not be buying any tickets in vaitor. Your service is just for money.

It's better to get your tickets straight from the Nelson Mandela website. This is a rip off......tickets at the box office are $29.... Wasted money for nothing

A fascinating tour of the prison camp, guided by former inmates of the prison. Explanations of torture and living conditions did much to better understand the depressing conditions under which the political prisoners were detained. A well worthwhile trip. We enjoyed the boat crossing too, on a fairly calm and sunny day.

The experience is wonderful but this tour through the app and Beyond Africa Safaris did nothing for us except get us the entrance ticket.
