Wonderful place to explore. Just note, the cable car does not always run, as high winds effect whether it will run or not.

Table mountain was amazing and worth seeing and the knowledge and history is quite good. So many hiking trails with cameras around for safety purposes

Key word is “ Roland” . His infectious passion for what he does makes a full day of touring an outstanding experience. We loved every moment of the country side, people and food. We did Table mountain as a separate tour as this is already a full day. 9-7. Highly recommended… DO NOT MISS . Point of Cape, Good Hope, Penguins & lunch was spectacular.

Tour guide Chris was knowledgeable & friendly. He was efficient at moving us through the initial lines at the cable car. It was a perfect day & we did the 45 minute trail hike at the top as the crowds fell away. He was all too obliging at taking photos as I was a solo traveller. This tour was just what I was looking for...highly recommend. Thanks Chris!

Chris was a wonderful guide. In fact, of the three La Vacanza Travel arranged excursions, Chris was the best guide. The right combination of conversation and quiet periods as we hiked Table Mountain. And his guidance was invaluable due to the HUGE crowds at Table Mountain. The day of our booking was the first clear and sunny day in the past several and the mountain was absolutely packed. Chris had Fast Passes that got us to the cable car right away. We then took the 45 minute trail hike once we got to the top. The cable car has a rotating floor that gives everyone a good view. No fighting for the best spot! At the top, as we got further from the cable car station, the crowds fell away. We had plenty of great views and photo ops. Chris was only to obliging to snap our picture on many occasions. He was full of interesting information and geography - which was critical as we had a 360 degree view of the Cape from the hike! The whole excursion lasted from about 9am to noon, which was perfect for us. Great tour and highly recommended! Thanks Chris!!
