Overview

Sea kayaking is a great way to experience the magic of Ningaloo. Join us for a half day sea kayak and snorkel adventure in Ningaloo Reef's nursery, the wildlife-rich Bundegi Sanctuary Zone. Spot turtles, rays, and baby reef sharks in the shallows, and take the opportunity to snorkel from your kayak amongst the sheltered coral reef.

Small group sizes mean our guides can customise our tours to our guests. Group sizes are usually capped at a maximum of 8 guests, but groups of up to 16 guests can be catered for.

Please note that the tour time changes daily with the tides. Please contact us [email protected] for up-to-date tour times.

Itinerary

We'll pick you up from your Exmouth accommodation and make the short drive (10 minutes) to our tour launch point in the Bundegi Sanctuary Zone, amongst the northern stretches of World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef. Upon arrival, we'll kit you out with all the gear you'll need, and after a quick familiarisation with your kayak and a safety briefing, we'll head out for a paddle.
Look for juvenile turtles, rays, schools of fish and even baby reef sharks in the shallows from your kayak in this area known as Ningaloo's nursery. After some kayaking, we'll head a little way offshore and tie off to some 'kayak only' snorkel moorings to slip over the side of your kayak and explore the coral reef and amazing underwater life, including schools of fish and green turtles.
The kayaking and snorkelling is suitable for novices, with our experienced guides on hand to point out interesting creatures and make you feel at ease. A snack stop on the beach gives the opportunity to rest and refuel.

Such a beautiful day. Loz and Neil were fantastic hosts, so knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to hang out with. Was so grateful to Loz for taking the time to calm and reassure our daughter who was very nervous about the snorkelling - made her feel really calm and safe and she ended up having an absolutely brilliant time. Love the tour photos - was so nice to just be able to enjoy the experience and not feel the need to keep taking snaps. We were also grateful for the advice given about where would be good places to snorkel on other days too.

Well organised and run, reef dissapointingly bland. Poor visibility. Was just after a cyclone but still dissapointing.

The tour is well organised and well timed to have a bit of kayaking and enough time to snorkel. Our guide Neil (please forgive me if it is not written correctly) was very knowledgeable and funny and made everything to let us enjoy the tour

An excellent half day out with guides Loz and Sophie. The trip was so well organised and it was fun to kayak out to the snorkel spot. The reef was great to explore, it was teeming with sea life. We saw lots of fish, turtles, a blue spotted stingray, a huge stingray, and a lemon shark. Highly recommend this trip!

So glad I booked this tour which was a highlight of our week in Exmouth. We were delighted to see countless turtles on the tour as well as rays and a variety of fish. Highly knowledgable guide with good focus on water safety. Thanks for the fantastic photos Loz - a lovely memento of our trip. Highly recommend this tour and Exmouth Adventure Company.
