This private walking tour begins when you meet with your guide at your centrally-located hotel to discover the wonderful Renaissance city of Florence. The tour is a fantastic introduction to the city’s highlights: Santa Croce Church; the Bargello Palace; Piazza della Signoria; Ponte Vecchio; Palazzo Vecchio; the Cathedral; Giotto's Bell Tower; Uffizi Gallery's courtyard and the church of San Lorenzo.

With skip-the-line entry, you can climb to the top of Brunelleschi’s Dome for a spectacular view of Florence. The Dome itself is a symbol of the city, famous for its design and architectural engineering.

Note that your Dome ticket also allows you entry to the Cathedral, the Crypt, the Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Museo dell’Opera. Tickets are valid for 72 hours from first entry.

Our tour guide Lio was excellent. He met us at our hotel and gave us a great tour of Florence providing us with a great history of the city. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his city and its art work. The Dome climb was not to be missed. Amazing views in all directions!

This tour was personal and full of amazing information, a million times better then a group walking tour we did earlier. Ludavica was a wonderful guide and told me more about the Medici family then a previous Medici tour we did on af tours. The ease of her getting our tickets ahead of time for the dome climb was amazing !!!! Don’t pass this tour up.

We had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Stefania in Florence. We were traveling with our 9 and 6 yo boys who, while for the most part are pretty go with the flow kids, we re tired from traveling and walking 22,000 steps a day. She adjusted the tour and the pace to fit the kids and really provided a nice commentary on many local traditions. I really appreciated her patience and understanding. She was a great guide and you should take a walk around Florence with her!
