Stop At: Siena, Siena, Tuscany

Siena is known throughout Italy for the quality of its medieval architecture.
Upon arrival, enjoy the best local monuments such as the famous Conch-shaped Piazza del Campo and the outstanding 13th-century Siena Cathedral.
Many local shops fill the historic streets of Siena that will allow you to taste or taste local food or buy some gifts!

Stop At: Castellina In Chianti, Castellina In Chianti, Tuscany

*Option to organize lunch at the Farm or Winery, where you can taste wines and organic local products. (to be payed on spot)
(This option will reduce the time in the cities of Siena and San Gimignano and exclude Monteriggioni).

We explore the country of Tuscany, we will drive through the chianti hills. Stop for picture!!!!

Stop At: Historic Centre of San Gimignano, Piazza del Duomo 2, 53037, San Gimignano Italy

Here we are in the beautiful stronghold of San Gimignano. Freeze at the age 1300dc, San Gimignano a pearl of medieval architecture famous for its houses tower!
This is our last spot of the day before returning to Florence

Our day trip to Siena, San Gimignano and a winery tour and lunch was exactly the experience that one would hope to have while visiting Tuscany. Michele, our driver and guide for the day met us at our hotel in Florence (15 minutes early 😄) in a beautiful and new Mercedes van. Michele was a very charming, personable, and knowledgeable guide. His English was very good and he brought the perfect blend of historical knowledge and passion for the Tuscan countryside. He provided us with an overview of each of the towns we were to visit and ensured that we would visit all the most interesting spots. He gave us sufficient time to explore each town so that we never felt rushed. As much as we enjoyed visiting Siena and San Gimignano, the absolute highlight was our tour and lunch at the Poggio Amorelli winery. It was right out of a movie. What ann incredible experience. After concluding our day long tour of the Tuscan region, Michele dropped us to the train station in Florence for the next segment of our vacation and ensured that we knew what to expect when arriving at the train station and when we got to Venice. We really felt well looked after the entire day. A first rate experience.

Mossimo was a fantastic driver and tour guide for our day in Tuscany. He drove us to amazing picturesque scenic views, informed us well on the history and culture, took extra time to drive us as needed, and pointed out superb restaurants and gelato. Could not have been a better day!

It was wonderful to be able to see all the beautiful sights of Siena. We learnt a lot about the place, especially from the driver Mike (Michele), who was just fantastic and incredibly friendly from the start of the trip till the end. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience that you would not regret.

This was one of the most memorable and excellent private day tours that I have ever had and I have had many. Simone was an excellent companion for our trip. This tour is a must do if you’re in Florence for a few days.
