Check-in and departure point

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Via San Piero di Sotto 1 c/o Villa le Corti, 50026, San Casciano in Val di Pesa Italy

Our first stop of the day is at a beautiful winery belonging to one of the most prestigious Italian aristocratic families. Here we taste three wines paired with cured meats and two olive oils but first, there’s a fascinating guided tour of the historic wine cellars and to the olive mill through underground tunnels that pass under the villa.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: La Cantinetta Di Rignana, Via Rignana, 13, 50022 Greve in Chianti FI, Italy

Now buckle-up and get ready for some off-roading through ancient woodland and rolling hills, outlined with cypress trees and dotted with rustic farms and churches, to make our way to a typical Tuscan winery restaurant with stunning views. Here is where we will really get your taste buds tingling with delicious food and wine. You will not want to leave!

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Lamole Di Lamole, Via di Lamole, 50022, Greve in Chianti Italy

We go deeper into the Chianti hills and enjoy more incredible countryside on our way to a Chianti Classico vineyard. As a contrast to the established winery of the morning, this one is smaller and less known though does have two award winning wines which you will taste as you find out how ancient tradition and innovation have been combined to create them.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Piazza Giacomo Matteotti, 8, 50022 Greve in Chianti FI, Italy

Greve, a picturesque town in Chianti where you can enjoy a little free time to wind down and get a coffee, shop or just soak in the unique Italian culture of this idyllic place.

We greatly enjoyed this tour. It made for a long day but we had plenty of food, wine, and sight seeing. We stopped at three very nice wineries and got to sample the wines with food pairings. We especially enjoyed the lunch (the food was very good and very plentiful). We bought and shipped wine home, which was nice. We met plenty of awesome fellow travelers which very much added to our experience. And our guide was very good, very knowledgeable, and helpful. Overall I highly recommend this tour.

The only thing I would change is allowing more time in Chianti in Greve at the end. 40 minutes just wasn't enough time. About an hour and a half would have been better. But, we were all ready to get back to Florence by this point as well.

Our driver was very safe and we enjoyed the oversized vehicle and back roads tour. Great day!

My husband and I went on this tour with my parents, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it! Gloria was an excellent tour guide, and provided insightful information about wine, Tuscany, Italy in general. I was hesitant when I saw others post that it was a large group (approx 20) and I am used to doing experiences with fewer people about 10, but it was not an issue and did not detract from the experience at all. All of the wineries were amazing and the lunch as well. In addition to wine, we did a couple of olive oil tastings which were delicious as well. This was definitely a day well spent, we learned and saw so much more than we would have been able to on our own!

I have been on numerous tours and wine excursions but this was the best by far. The “beast” was extremely comfortable to ride in and very fun to travel off road but Gloria made the trip. She was very informative about where we were traveling and the wines we tasted. She was easy to understand and had a very fun personality that kept the commentary light and fun. I would highly recommend, this tour is a great value

Martina was an excellent guide, so much knowledge and it was as if it was the first time she had done the tour as she was so engaging and fresh!! Wonderful locations and great fun in the 4x4. Would highly recommend, it’s not a trip you would want to miss. Loved every minute but again that was down to Martina and Romolo the driver.
