Travel to the medieval town of Gruyéres, home of the World famous Swiss cheese. Visit the Maison du Gruyére to learn about cheese making, have a lunch at their indoor restaurant and taste the best menus made of "fromage fondu"!

Stop At: Maison Cailler, rue Jules Bellet 7, Broc 1636 Switzerland

Visiting the World famous Suiss Chocolate maker, Cailler's museum. You will learn about they history, the history of chocolate making. You can taste freshly made chocolate for dessert! The best experience for chocolate lovers! But who doesn't love chocolate, right?

Stop At: Gruyeres Castle, rue du Chateau 8, Gruyeres 1663 Switzerland

I paid money for a private tour… not a driver service. I have had many great Viatour experiences. This was not one. The driver rarely spoke and just dropped us off at each location, gave brief instructions and then went back to his car. I expected a full guide tour experience per tour description at time of resetvation and past Viatour experiences.

We had a great private tour of the Gruyères area. Our guide, Gabor, was great and shared a lot of interesting information. The cheese factory, Gruyères castle and Cailler chocolaterie were awesome.

Gabor was very nice and was a good company in addition to being our guide to the trip. This was the first trip of our switzerland tour. We had a nice drive and got to know lot of cheesy details about cheese & chocolate making.

This tour gave us a feel for the real Swiss country side. The cheese and chocolate making tours and castle visit were were well worth the drive. We ate some more wonderful Gruyère cheese at lunch in the castle square. Gabor was an amazing guide.
