Overview

Experience our professional Stand up Paddle activities on the Gold Coast, right in the heart of Surfers Paradise.  We start your board hire with a safety briefing and an area briefing of where to go, then you get to launch the board and explore the waterways of the Gold Coast. Paddle a lap of one of the numerous islands and stop off for a coffee any one of the amazing cafes near the waterfront. The area of paddling is on the river and only on flat water so it is safe, fun & easy.  

The calm waters here create ease of SUP'ing (stand up paddling) and are super fun to explore. It’s an incredible feeling standing on your paddleboard, perhaps spotting the local dolphins & create amazing photos!  If we can we will capture your experience with photos for you to share on Social Media.

Stop At: Go Vertical SUP Hire, 19 River Dr Shop 4, Ground Level, Budds Beach, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland 4217 Australia

Beautiful hidden gem here called Budds Beach, where you will launch the boards from. Tranquil calm waters of the river provide hours of paddle fun, great for kids! Budds Beach boasts a boutique cafe and gift shop, whilst the park provides plenty of shade and grassed area with sandy shoreline, picnic tables, BBQs, and full amenities.

Stop At: Macintosh Island Park, Gold Coast Highway, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland Australia

Paddle past the mansions of Paradise Waters into the tranquil calm waters of Macintosh Island Park. Can walk around the grassy area and look for local bird life or simply enjoy the beach and have a swim.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Surfers Paradise, Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Queensland

Paddling past the city skyline is a treat and you can get a great photo memory here with high rises in the background of your paddle photos. Shallow bank provides a rest spot for photo opportunities.

Absolutely loved it!! Family if 4 - 2 boys, myself & DH - great morning activity. Linda was really friendly and helpful with instructions. I had always wanted to try SUP & finally got to, in warm water :). Good time had by all!! Thank you Linda!

We booked our SUP hire through our hostel (Budds Inn) which got us a $5 discount. We booked a two hour hire which gave us enough time to paddle to the furthest point and have a rest on the beach. The water was calm and there were plenty of points along to river to aim for, including bridges and beaches. We were tired by the end of our two hours. The lady was very friendly and gave us a quick tutorial on how to use the paddle boards and a safety briefing. We really enjoyed our SUP hire!

I went this Sunday and hired a sup for the first time. Linda couldn't have been more helpful or professional. She even was able to coax my little dog (who's afraid to swim) on to the board. I highly recommend this company for a great day out! 5 stars!

Great morning on the water in a lovely location. The lady who dealt with us was really nice and very helpful. We paid $35 dollars each for 2 hours paddle board hire. The company offers group discount. We loved it and wish we went more!!
