Cappadocia is famous for its cuisine as well as its culture. For centuries, women in Cappadocia have been making yufka, a traditional bread, before winter starts to meet their bread needs in winter. The Yufka is cooked on a wood-fired sheet metal. This bread is also turned into a food called Gözleme, by adding ingredients such as Cheese, Eggs, Candied Walnuts, Potatoes and Spinach. Gözleme is a delicious food that should be consumed hot.
We first learn how to cook this delicacy with the help of a local lady, and then we start to eat it by cooking it ourselves. While making Gözleme, we also have the opportunity to relax in the calm of the our Garden House in the open air, with the pleasure of learning and having fun.
