2-Night Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Area Trip from Hong Kong by Bullet Train

Itinerary

Day 1: Hong Kong - Guangzhou - Duyun - Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Spot

Stop At: Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, Hong Kong China
Go to West Kowloon Railway Station by yourself. There is not a non-stop train from Hong Kong to Dunyun. You will take train G6582 from West Kowloon to Guangzhou South (0825/0928), then take train D2812 from Guangzhou South Station to Duyun East Station (1005/1425).

Round trip train tickets have been reserved in advance. You need to use your passport to redeem round trip train ticket from the ticketing office at the station. Please make sure that you arrive at West Kowloon Station before 7:10 to redeem your train ticket.

Passenger should allow enough time for immigration and custom clearance. You will leave Hong Kong and enter mainland China. China visa is not included in this package. Please make sure you have a valid visa to travel in mainland China.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Duyun, Duyun, Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou
Your driver will hold a name sign, wait for you at the exit from where you will show up at Duyun East Railway Station. Transfer to Kew Green Hotel (Address: No.1 East Gate of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, Libo, Guizhou).
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Zhangjiang Scenic Area, South of Libo County, Libo County 558400 China
Your hotel is located in Zhangjiang Senic Area. It features wild karst forests interwoven with beautiful waterscapes and striking valleys and mountains. The area, together with the Maolan National Nature Reserve, an amazingly beautiful karst forest rarely seen in the subtropical zone along the same latitude, was named a World Natural Heritage site in 2007 for its fine examples of karst scenery.

The scenic area mainly consists of the Xiaoqikong (Small Seven-hole Bridge) Scenic Zone, Daqikong (Large Seven-hole Bridge) Scenic Zone, unveil a wide array of waterfalls, streams, lakes, forests and fantastic caves.

It takes 90-minute drive from Duyun East Railway Station to your hotel. You will arrive the hotel at about 16:00.

Day 2: Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Area

Stop At: Seven Small Arches (Xiaoqikong), Southwest of Libo County, Libo County 558400 China
Free time to explore this area by yourself.  

The 12-kilometer-long Seven Small Arches (Xiaoqikong Scenic Zone) stands out as the most popular one, It is a beautiful, over 100-year old bridge with 7 arches over calm waters, surrounded by lush, green forest. Sometimes you can see local people fishing from their bamboo boats. Other attractions worth to visit are: Laya Waterfall, Guibei Mountain, Yuanyang Lake.

Stop At: Large Seven-hole Bridge Scenic Resort, South of Libo County, Libo County 558400 China
This area is more like "un-touched" nature. You might walk around to Evil-Spirit Wind Tunnel. Stunning view of rocks, trees, birds singing and sound of the water accompanied you all the way.

Day 3: Libo - Duyun - Guangzhou - Hong Kong

Stop At: Maolan Reserve, Southeast of Libo County, Libo County 558400 China
Feel free to explore Libo in the morning. 

There are many beautiful places to see, and highly recommend Maolan National Nature Reserve, an amazingly beautiful karst forest rarely seen in the subtropical zone along the same latitude, features wild karst forests interwoven with beautiful waterscapes and striking valleys and mountains. 

Later today you will be transferred to Duyun East Railway Station. The same driver will pick you up at 14:00. You will take a train D1761 from Dunyun East to Guangzhou South (1606/2039), another train G99 from Guangzhou South to West Kowloon Hong Kong (2137/2230).

You might ask a friendly railway station staff for help. (2) Passport should be presented and verified for ticket purchase.
