This was such a lovely way to spend a few hours. We were lucky enough to be the only ones on the boat. The fish market was in full swing so we were able to browse around there before we started the cruise. Fascinating. Interesting being able to go on board a traditional fishing houseboat.

This is a very limited tour and definitely not worth the price. You simply stay within a short radius of the Pier and look at the scenery which you can do from the Shoreline

This was a really great tour and we appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. First, you come onto the pier to an interesting gift shop with a host of books, maps, and artwork about Hong Kong’s history. Next, you get on the tour boat and go around the harbour, learning about the history of the tour and seeing some of the amazing sights and sounds, including the floating restaurant. You then dock at a house boat and get to see what it was like to live in a house boat. Amy, our tour guide, gave us a really personal tour and explained what her life was like on a similar boat. It was a fantastic experience and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong/Aberdeen.

I have been living in HK for almost 35 years. From the teaching book, we know Hong Kong is an international city and was a small fishing port before. In this journey, I can have a new way to understand HK and experience how is living for fisherman and their family. It is also a great spot of sightseeing with beautiful weather.
