Today, we hiked Dragon’s Back with Rory Mackay, founder of Wild Hong Kong. He is an excellent guide and conversation, providing insights about Hong Kong, his birth place. We whole heartily recommend Wild Hong Kong because it is a phenomenal experience! Thanks Rory! 👍😀

This was my second hike in HK but not my favorite. Dragon's Back itself is lovely but an easy hike - mostly a walk with a few inclines here and there. If you are in decent shape this will not be challenging. Also - whatever you do - DO NOT GO ON THE WEEKEND! It was so crowded that at multiple points in the hike we were literally walking in a long line with other people. Loud talking all around. Passing people on the trail. If I had gone on a weekday I would have enjoyed this much more. There are some amazing views and photo ops. We were lucky to see some para gliders take off and land which was pretty cool! There are some amazing hiking areas in Hong Kong and I highly recommend checking them out. The other hike I did was in Kai Sung - it was a long, challenging one but wow it was wow it was the best thing I did in Hong Kong!
