Stop At: Lake Baikal, Lake Baikal, Siberian District
We head to the shore of Baikal in a small Village called Bogalteka. It retains the buildings of Soviet time. In this place there are few tourists, which will allow you privacy and feel all the beauty of Baikal nature. Abandoned old wooden yurts left from indigenous peoples. A unique windy forest located at the foot of local mountains, the shape of trees in the forest is altered by the constant strong winds prevailing in these places.
Of course you will see the most important lake Baikal and Baikal ice. Only in this place it will appear to you in different shapes and forms: Huge ice fragments (taros) striking with their size and bright blue color, clean and even Baku ice, on which if desired it is possible to skate. You 'll see unique drawings in the thickness of Baikal ice that take different quirky forms.
If you are lucky, you will see huge snow flakes that, like ice butterflies, have fallen asleep on the surface of the ice, giving you the impression of a fabulous world.
The ice of Lake Baikal is constantly breathing, it is accompanied by very beautiful, loud sounds of similar music fabulous musical instruments. This is completely different from all that the guests of Baikal are used to seeing on trips to Lisvyanka and Olhon Island, crowded with noisy groups of tourists.
You will also be waiting for a hot and delicious lunch of Russian cuisine!
