Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and knew almost every fact about the Gallipoli campaign. His years of guiding and studying the battlefields showed through. Unbelievable experience. The organisation by Hassle Free Travel was extremely professional. All pickups on time. Hotel in Canakkale was very comfortable. Highly recommend this tour and company.

This was my first visit to the Gallipoli battlefields. Hanafi made the transportation, food, and lodging arrangements truly "Hassle Free". Arcan, my tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and really helped to paint the picture of the battle as we walked the terrain. He was also great at recommending books and other reference material to learn more about the battle. Day Two was somewhat limited due to the closure of the Naval Museum during the pandemic, but exploring the town of Çanakkale was an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

My trip with Hassle Free Travel was more than hassle free, it was exceptional! The administration and communication (in fluent English) were outstanding. The transport to and from Istanbul, and on the two tours, was wonderfully comfortable. The hospitality at Helen Hotel was first-rate, specifically the hygiene and cleanliness, important factors currently (Covid). Our base on the Gallipoli peninsula was the Maydos Restaurant, a beautiful establishment overlooking the Dardanelles with easy access to all the battlefields and beaches (and ferries to Canakkale). The history of the city of Troy, that is nearly 5000 years old, is understandably complex. My guide here (Ercan) is an expert and an avid historian who provided wonderful content and context. Truly fascinating. The Gallipoli Campaign and its role in World War I and the rise of Mustafa Kemal, was covered in two days. Opa (guide), provided briefings for each day, showed extra information and detail on his tablet, provided uncomplicated detail at each site, and allowed personal space to appreciate where we were. His professional, personalised, and passionate approach was deeply appreciated. I have no hesitation in promoting and recommending Hassle Free Travel.

Our tour guides, Apo and his colleague, whose name I cannot remember sorry, were wonderful. Their knowledge and passion for the history of both the Gallipoli Campaign and the stories and myths that surround Troy are exemplary. They were interesting, compassionate and totally unbiased in the recounting of the WW1 disaster that was the Allies landing on the Gallipoli peninsula. They were insightful, and clearly well informed historically and anecdotally. I enjoyed listening to them enormously. I was thrilled to see how well cared for the various sites are as well as the and graves of all the brave men who died during those fateful months in 1915. Thank you to those who tend the cemeteries and keep them so that "our sons are now lying in your bosom and are in peace." that " they have become your sons as well" The minivans were good and clean. The hotels were good as was the food mostly. The pick up and drop offs were spot on time and the stops well chosen for cleanliness and food choices. I have longed to do a trip to the Gallipoli peninsula since my Father and Husband went there together 21 years ago. Dad's interest in the Australians at at war has passed to me and now I have been there and paid my respects to all the fallen as well. Troy was also fascinating especially for my Mythology and ancient history interested Daughter. Thank you very much for everything. I enjoyed the tour very very much.
