What an excellen time we had with Ekrem. We saw the old city, but then asked him to take us off the beaten path. We ended up going to small areas of only Turkish people and having a lunch in an authentic cheap but delicious Turkish restaurant then took a tram to the, new Istanbul and walked from there . Highly recommend for professionalism and knowledge!!! Spent 6 hours together

We had wrestled with touring Istanbul on our own with the help of guidebooks, traveller's reviews, etc. How thankful we are that in the end we decided to use a tour company. We were attracted to Guided Istanbul tours by its previous reviews and were definitely not disappointed. We had the benefit of being 2 people with our own guide fore 3 days. Sercan was really lovely and made sure that we got to the best of Istanbul and accommodated our suggested variations on the standard itinerary. There was no way we would have seen as much without his knowledge of the city. His encyclopaedic knowledge of the city, its inhabitants and rulers, and its place in history was extraordinary. I can't recommend the company and particularly Sercan more strongly.

Highly recommended. Sultan Ahmet IV is a great, patient, and respectful tour guide. He showed us around Istanbul and we stopped in key landmarks. I would definitely have him as my tour guide again.
