The tour guide himself was a lovely person but the tour was poorly put together. We met near the square, queued for 45 minutes in silence, the guide then gave us a 5 minute talk outside the mosque, 5 minutes in the hall, 5 minutes by a mosaic, 5 minutes inside the dome, and then said if we had any questions, to ask him. None of the information was particularly interesting - just vague dates, and pointing out things we could already see. There was no value added at all. For a tour that's billed as 90 minutes and costs £13 this was very poor. It felt lazy and rushed. We were also instructed to bring headphones as part of the booking confirmation, but the guide had no idea why we needed this.
Osi was great, punctual and a great communicator shared lots of historical facts and insights that I would have missed on my own. Thankyou
Guide was good and took care very well. The tour description on the booking page was misleading. Under "what's included" was mentioned Fast Track, however marked with an "x" which I guess means not included. Very easy to overlook and misunderstand.
Great, quick, and informative guide! We were very happy with the amount of time it took and the stories our guide told us. Beautiful, must-see in Istanbul!
A great tour with a very knowledgeable guide Melody who gave us a great insight into the history of the Hagia Sofia. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the tour felt a little rushed. Still a great tour though.
