I booked my return trip with a long layover in Istanbul. to see Αγία Σοφία and the Blue Mosque, and the old city. At the time of the booking, I was supposed to arrive to the old airport, and I thought to just go by myself to see the sites - but was later notified by the airline that the plane will arrive to a new airport, quite far from the city. I realized I better have help. Luckily, I found La Vacanza Travel and the layover tour. I was brought from the airport to the old city (and back to the airport) in a very comfortable mini-bus, I had an amazing guide, knowledgeable in history, educated, worldly, with great command of English language, very pleasant and friendly. I had a wonderful time, and I am sure I would not have covered so much ground without him, nor would I have such a great experience. Highly recommended - do yourself a favor and get the tour!

Had a fantastic layover tour with Salih -- great way to take advantage of a layover in Istanbul. Everything was easy -- from being picked up at the airport, to the private tour of Istanbul's highlights, to getting back to the airport with plenty of time to catch my flight. Salih was very knowledgeable about all of the sights and even took pictures of me and sent them to me. Highly recommend!

it was very good. sorry it was so quick. only drawback was that a marathon was going on downtown Istanbul and that prevented us from seeing other sights.
