Holy Jerusalem is a complex city, thousands of years old, a place of yearning and identification for Jews, Christians, and Moslems. Join me on a walking tour during which we will meet and talk with people from the wide variety of cultures and religions who live in the Old City. We will visit holy places of the three religions: the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and more. Elad is an excellent guide. He took me and my mother to see Old Jaffa and the Old City in Jerusalem. His knowledge about the long histories of these places, combined with a strong understanding for the complexities of the inter-cultural relations is impressive to say the least. I found the tours exceedingly informative, and would recommend him to anyone.

Elad was a wonderful guide—he met us in Tel Aviv and took us to old Jaffa, and also met us in Jerusalem and gave us a tour of the old city, highlighting the history both cultural and religious. We enjoyed hearing about how multiple cultures have connections to the very same historical spots. There were two of us, with slightly different interests and areas of knowledge, and Elad “read the room,” and geared his information toward both of us. He also helped us to stay comfortable over the 6 hour tours! He’s very kind and open.

The tour Elad gave us was extremely comprehensive and encompassed all the important aspects of a city as complex as Jerusalem. For me it was very important to fully understand the history of the city and the intricacies that encompass every part of the city today. This is now the second time I come see Elad to learn, understand connect and marvel. After a visit with my father in 2018 I left convinced that this was the most meaningful tour imaginable. I also left convinced that I will one day take all my family back. This day came in 2023 and the seven of us connected with Elad as deeply as I had remembered. Elad brings an energy of light, love, knowledge and kindness. His understanding of all things humanity is contagious and he was able to keep our multi language group from 9 years of age to 82 years riveted and engaged. I am sure I will return with my grand children one day.
