This tour was such an amazing tour, I highly recommend. Our tour guide & driver (Dedy & Yus) were really incredible and made the tour more enjoyable! Dedy was very knowledgeable about the country’s history and culture, so we got to learn a lot during the trip. Yus was also very lovely. As for attractions, my personal favorite was the Monkey Sanctuary (I would also bring 50k IDR to get to hold the monkeys personally because that was an experience I’ll never forget and the only time you can safely touch any monkeys) .The coffee plantation was very unique and fun. The villages for the jewelry, art and family temple were soo cool to experience the culture close up. The rice gardens were breathtaking and I would bring cash to do the Bali swing at the gardens (about 200 IDR/ $14 USD), the swing and the views from the swing was definitely memorable. For lunch (which isn’t included but it was very inexpensive) you are dining at a restaurant across from Mt. Batur and I was in awe of the view the entire time. The temple and its history was definitely interesting to see. To end it all, the balinese massage with the flower bath was a perfect way to end the Bali Master Tour. With this tour you definitely got to see most of the attractions most people come to see - just make sure to be appreciative of your guides because they take their whole day to try to make sure you enjoy your time, and don’t forget to tip them! If you’re coming to bali, this is definitely a tour to take!

This experience was honestly not great at all. It wasnt all bad though, so I’ll list the pros and cons in order to provide a balanced review. Pros: 1. the guide was very helpful, and several times cared for our baby son while we were participating in activities. 2. The view of the mountain was very nice 3. The spa was excellent, definitely the best part of the day. 4. The route/trip generally felt well organised and ran smoothly. Cons: 1. Much of the information provided as part of the tour was VERY focused on religion. Neither of us are religious in the slightest so this wasn’t particularly interesting to us and at times it felt like a bit of a chore to listen to. I did try and steer the conversation in a different direction a few times but it normally always came back to religion. 2. The start of the day was not good at all. What was sold to us as seeing some local art was actually being pushed into establishments which appeared to be designed to sell over priced items to tourists. Upon going into these places each time we were assigned a person who would literally follow us around like a shadow trying HARD to get us to buy things. It was REALLY annoying. It honestly would not surprise me if our guide was getting paid by the establishments to bring tourists there and it just really felt like a total scam (on this tour was the first and only time we’ve felt like this in Bali). 3. Lunch was absolutely horrendous. Again, extremely suspicious that the guide was getting paid to bring us there . It was insanely over priced for Bali and the food was disgusting, just a cheap poor quality buffet. I was genuinely worried about getting food poisoning, the had even managed to burn the soup so it was completely inedible. The service was also deplorable. It took over 30 minutes and 6 requests to get the drinks we ordered and it ended up costing us about £28 for some soft drinks and two plates of buffet slop (nothing about buffets I normally love them). They also said yes when we asked them if they had high chairs so we allowed our driver to go off with the pram, only to find out they actually only have one high chair in the whole place which was being used so we just had to wait until they were done. 4. The rice field thing was again very touristy. This was ok for us as we wanted to do the swing thing at some point anyway but I had also kind of looking forward to finding out about how they grow rice etc which didn’t seem to be an option (I guess that doesn’t have anything to do with religion). All in all, not a good experience and we were unfortunate that the particularly bad bits were at the start of the day which made us just feel incredibly irritated for the rest of it.

Absolutely superb service. One thing I love is when I/we get a guide and driver for our tours. I love love love Three (3). Her and Niko/Neko together were great guides. She was very informative about the tour and teaching us the Balinese culture and I love learning about distant cultures and why they do what they do. This is very few of the many tours we’ve been on that actually taught us something regarding the culture. She’s so sweet and kind. If I can’t get her when I’m in Bali on these informative tours then I don’t want to do it because she’s the best. She knows her country, she has patience and takes great care. Next time tell her to have some them cookies she bakes when she’s not touring. 🙏🏽 This entire tour was refreshing. From the boutique to the monkey forest, UC silver/gold, Lunch looking to Mt. Batur (Bali’s second largest Volcano), the coffee and tea, the rice fields and many swings to take insta ready pix on to the spa. You would be extremely proud to get Three… From your Los Angeles, Houston & Atlanta living friends, we love you Three & Niko/Neko. We hope to see you soon again!
