You will be welcomed by Globes Travel representative & your private guide at the pier & will be taken to Old Cochin for Cochin Heritage tour. Your tour comprises of visit to the Dutch Palace (closed on Friday). It was built by the Portuguese, and presented to the Raja of Cochin in 1555. Though built by the Portuguese, it is popularly known as the 'Dutch Palace', as the Dutch renovated it during their brief reign here. The glory of the Palace lies in the murals which are in the traditions of Hindu Temple Art. You will continue with a visit to the Jewish synagogue (closed on Friday noon & Saturday). The current structure of the church as we see it today was renovated by the British in the year 1887. It was a wonderful and overall exciting experience. It was my first visit to Kerala and the enriching and soothing emotion the trip felt in my can not be described in literal words. The guide and the staff were very friendly and always ready to assist me no matter what. The food was flavorful, mouth-watering, and delicious. We did little shopping and learned a lot about the historical importance of Cochin Heritage. I would like to thank our support mechanism in Cochin and this Heritage tour The Gloves travel to make it.

This was my first visit to India and the Cochin region, and Rajesh was wonderful in the arrangement he made for our group. The transportation was comfortable, and the guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to take other excursions through Globes Travel during our visit, and we were very pleased with each one. It gave us an opportunity to see the area, but also experience local culture and not just main “tourist attractions.” I would highly recommend Rajesh and his agency to travelers.
