This tour would be an unique experience to see the highlights of Kochi - Old Town called Fortkochi and Mattancherry. We will provide you the pickup and drop either from your Hotel / Home stay or Cochin port for your shore excursions. From Willington Island where your Ship docks to the Old town of Kochi is only about half an hour drive / 15 Km from your ship. Auto tour is one of the cheapest transport in India and  the advantage of this ride is ,it can go through all the narrow streets of Kochi and we cover the local markets , people's daily activities and life , Fishing , Spice warehouses etc..

We will meet you at your accommodation in Cochin.

Tour starts at 9 am or 2 pm (Morning and Afternoon ) Minimum 3 hours and Maximum 4 hours along with a Local Tour guide / entrances / bottle of water. This tour will show you a real experience in the Old city of Cochin.

Highlights : Vegetable Market , A public laundry ( Dhobby Khana ) Fortkochi Beach , Dutch cemetery , St.Francis Church or Vasco -da-gama church , Fish market , Chinese fishing nets , all narrow streets inside the Fort area , Old Spice bazaar , Hindu Temple , Santa cruz basilica , Jewish quarter and Synagogue , Dutch palace or Mattancherry palace .

Had an absolutely amazing experience seeing the various communities of Cochin via auto rickshaw and walking, with excellent guide Vijesh (also known as VJ). He went over and above in showing us various neighborhood gems and sites of interest! One of the many highlights was experiencing various Indian bakery treats and Lassi. VJ is a superb English speaker. He is will leave you with warm lifelong memories of delightful Cochin.

We explored all the well known places and hidden treasures of Kochi. Vijesh provided all the historical importance of the places we visited. He is a very knowledgeable, professional tour guide. Since he knew so much about the history of the place we got to learn about different cultural influences on Indian subcontinent. Tour takes you to the most important places in Kochi, with enough time to take photos and explore the areas. Shout out to my guide Jithin who was more like a local friend than a tour guide! Would definitely recomend to anyone considering it.
