After being picked up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur, your first stop will be at the limestone hills of Batu Caves that comprises of three caverns and several smaller caves. It is the shrine of Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity – a flight of 272 steps lead up to the temple cave. Another cave, called the museum cave, is filled with images of deities and murals depicting scenes from the Hindu scriptures.

Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia, south of Kuala Lumpur. officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya. It’s known for its late-20th-century architecture including the Putra Mosque, made from rose-colored granite with a pink dome. Nearby is the immense, green-domed Perdana Putra, which contains the prime minister’s office complex. The 3-tiered Putra Bridge is inspired by Iranian architecture, with 4 minaret-type piers overlooking the man-made Putrajaya Lake.

The Putra Mosque is the principal mosque of Putrajaya Wilaya, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to the Perdana Putra, which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister's office and man-made Putrajaya Lake. In front of the mosque is a large square with flagpoles flying Malaysian states' flags. The pink-domed Putra Mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granite and consists of three main functional areas – the prayer hall, the Sahn, or courtyard, and various learning facilities and function rooms. The mosque can accommodate 15,000 worshippers at any one time.

The lake has an average depth of 6.60 metres and a catchment area of 50.9 square kilometres. Putra Bridge is the main bridge in Putrajaya, Malaysia. It is analogous to Khaju Bridge in Esfahan, Iran. With a span of 435 metres, this bridge connects the Government Precinct to the Mixed Development Precinct and links Putra Square with the Boulevard. It was constructed in 1997. The upper level of the bridge forms part of the Boulevard.

It was officially opened by the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin on 11 June 2010. The mosque was built to cater to approximately 24,000 residents including the government servants working around the city center

Millennium Monument is a national monument in Putrajaya, Malaysia which is analogous to the Washington Monument in Washington DC, United States. It was the second national monument to be built in Putrajaya after Putrajaya Landmark. It is shaped like an obelisk with etchings denoting important periods and milestones in the nation’s history. The monument is 68m tall. It stands in a 25-hectare park in Precinct 2. The monument is constructed of solid metal structures. At night, the monument serves as a beacon with strong light projected at 360 degrees and sweeping lights visible from various locations in Putrajaya.

Also known as Astaka Morocco among the locals, this pavilion was built to signify the strong ties between Malaysia and Morocco. The walls are adorned with Islamic calligraphy and intricate carvings that were made by skilled artists in Morocco and transported.

Taman Warisan Pertanian (Agriculture Heritage Park), in Putrajaya's Presint 16, is a good place to see a wide variety of tropical fruit trees, herbs and spices, rubber, palm oil, tea, coffee and other commercial crops.
This opens out onto a food court area with a number of eating choices including a Live Kitchen (Penanggah), a branch of the famous saté stall, Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri, and various kuey teow, noodle, roti and other Malaysian-style fast food stalls.
From here take some more steps (wheelchair ramp is available) to the ticket booth selling entrance tickets to the main part of the park.
You can either walk round the park yourself, hire a guide or take a buggy ride if you don't like the look of the hilly pathways.

Seri Perdana Bridge

The Seri Perdana Bridge is a 370-metre-long bridge which is built across the Putrajaya Lake in Putrajaya, Malaysia's federal administrative centre. It is based on royal Islamic architectural design. This bridge contains eight unique balconies / rest areas for visitors to enjoy the panoramic sights of the surrounding lake area. The bridge is made up of seven central spans of 75m and two end spans of 55m. There are two separate carriageways over two twin cell box girder. In the cross section, the overall width between extreme ends of two box girder is 23m. The footpath is flanked by railings and the road's median is lined by decorative street-lighting

The Seri Wawasan Bridge is one of the main bridges in the planned city Putrajaya, the new Malaysian federal territory and administrative centre. The bridge, also called Bridge No. 9, crosses Putrajaya Lake, an artificial lake made to provide natural cooling, and connects Precinct 2 on the Core Island, where the main government buildings are located.

Seri Gemilang Bridge is a ceremonial bridge in Putrajaya. It connects Heritage Square with Putrajaya Convention Centre. The bridge has a main span 120 metres long, with a 60-metre span at each end, for a total length of 240 metres.There are six traffic lanes, each 3.5 metres wide. The deck level above the water is 36.75 metres at the centre of the bridge. The road from the bridge leads to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre at the end.

The Seri Bakti Bridge is one of the main bridges in Putrajaya. The bridge links the secondary road to Seri Satria, the Deputy Prime Minister's Residence, connecting the Government Precinct in the north to Precinct 16 in the south. The concept design was developed from several shorter span, with a precast pretension "Super-T" beam slab deck with spans up to 35 m. The total structure length is 270 m.

Seri Setia Bridge is a main bridge in Putrajaya.The Seri Setia Bridge is located in the southeastern corner of Putrajaya, providing a vital link between Precinct 19 and the Commercial Precinct and the main route to the core island from the southeast. Made up of eight equal spans of 30 metres each, the bridge has lancet-arch designs on its railing that complement the fascia panels on its side. Among the features of this bridge are precast fascia panels, planter boxes on the medians, railings with architectural features and illuminations with decorative lightings.

Ich war schon um 8 Uhr da um die Ruhe vor den Touristen zu genießen. Die Moschee ist schon sehenswert. Um diese Zeit ist das Licht auch noch wunderbar. Verhungern tut man auch nicht. Auf dem Fluß sollte man auch eine Rundfahrt machen. Die Schiffe sind alle klimatisiert.
