Edessa was always known as one of the most important holy places of the world. We will travel to the on-going archaeological dig at Göbekli Tepe. Although this site is not so widely known it is one of the most important archaeological digs currently being undertaken anywhere in the world – this site represents a major shift in our understanding of man’s cultural evolution. The discovery of Gobekli Tepe is strong evidence that changed the entire known history of advanced civilizations. Upon arrival at the airport in Sanliurfa, you will meet your guide that will lead to Gobekli Tepe to visit the site.

You’ll be surprised how people built this structure 10,000 years BC using stone tools. After walking at the site of the excavation, Drive back to Şanlıurfa. Visit the Şanlıurfa Archeological and Mosaic Museum, which is the largest museum complex in Turkey.

Then onto the Pools of Abraham and the Cave where local tradition says the Prophet Abraham was born. Then after , we will be taken back to for lunch at a local restaurant where you can taste the delicious flavors of southeast Turkey. You can also enjoy shopping in the local market.

Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum is the greatest structure of Turkey crossed without any columns having an area of 6.000 m2 and 82 m diameter. The mosaics uncovered in Haleplibahce are in-situ exhibited in the Haleplibahce Mosaic Museum.
