Tourists and visitors are interested and curious about the dance, not only because of the trance thing but also for the story. The story is actually quite mainstream, about the good versus evil. But since it is performed artistically, it can touch the audience more simply. In the story, the good figure is represented by Barong and the evil figure is namely Rangda. Other characters appearing in the dance are a monkey, Rangda’s bodyguards, Goddess Kunti, and God Shiva. As information, not all stages in Bali present the dance.
