One of them is the Balour Balinese gate of Handara-the path way to serenity. It has become a famous Instagramable spot in Bali. It is a popular landmark for tourists who seek for one of Bali’s top Instagrammable locations to have some iconic picture for your social media. Make a wonderful picture in front of Handara Gate with the breathtaking view of green scenery and gigantic-exotic traditional Balinese gate as your backdrop. Pamper your eyes with the amazing green surrounding, beautiful scenery, and the amazing background of smoky green hills between the gates that creates a perfect picture for your Bali holiday.

Lake Tamblingan and Buyan It looks like a twin lake from the sky, you can see this lake is surrounded by coffee and clove plantation. From Bedugul with its Bratan lake, it will take only around 15 minutes toward the north before we can see in the left Lake Buyan with its glass like still waters. Following the road winding up the hill, through groups of monkeys on the road sides, we will arrive at the junction on the top of the hill, in this junction take the left turn (the straight direction go toward Singaraja city of north Bali).

Brahmavihara Arama Buddha Banjar is a Buddhist temple that was built in the late 20th century Christian exactly in 1960 and after 1970 it was opened formally in 1973. Actually Buddhist has been built before located at Banjar Tegehe around the hot spring area of Banjar Village, but at that time only the few of people adherents were getting more increasing then Brahmavihara Arama was finally built on such area of land, the area has been expanded in order to be able to build Borobudur Miniature that is located on the southern part of the Brahmavihara Arama that has been built and opened.

Banjar Hot Spring or locally known as Air Panas Banjar is one of the most popular tourist destinations in North Bali for a relaxed day pampering yourself with the benefits of the healing sulfurous water. An unforgettable tour all thanks to Ngurah Naya. There was not a question he could not answer regarding the Balinese Culture and sites we visited. He was extremely patient and always smiling and telling us jokes as we were en route to the various sites. The best part, better the highlight of the day was the shortcuts we took as we got to see how the Balinese people lived their daily jobs, and the meaning of their daily offerings. Thanks so much for making this tour memorable.

Raka was an awesome Tourguide/ driver. Very nice tour. Better than everything we had done this far as there are far less tourists in the north. Buddhist temple was awesome. Loved the waterfalls. Long day but took our time, not rushed at all.

Here is an honest and insightful review of our recent family trip to Bali. We were a group of 11 (6 adults and 5 children - 4-10yo), who travelled in April 2023. 4 ex Melbourne and 7 ex Adelaide. FYI this was our third trip to Bali since 1999. Luxury escapes - this trip was partly funded through a credit we had to take when our 2020 trip was cancelled due to Covid. The LE staff were great to deal with, but appeared hamstrung by operating policies that left us with little alternative options. Great deals, so long as you are happy with staying in their swim lane. Jetstar - We flew Jetstar, and were dreading having our flights cancelled/postponed, as had been reported widely in the media in recent weeks. Our experience turned out ok - with the Adel departure delayed 10 min, and the return Melbourne flight delayed 30 min. Not bad by international standards. The counter staff in Adelaide were not terribly friendly, and acted like they didn't want to be there. Whereas the flight crew on both flights were amazing - especially as we were travelling with 3 kids ex Adelaide. Bali - it was obvious that the tourist areas in Bali had been severely impacted by Covid - with many establishments being mothballed during the height of the pandemic. Some of the impacts of that are still visible. Merusaka Nusa Dua - we stayed at the Merusaka resort at Nusa Dua. This appeared to have been mothballed for a period of time as well. It was obvious that maintenance had not been kept up, and the place did look a little tired, however, there were signs of these works being carried out during our stay - and certainly not in an intrusive way. The staff were amazing, and were genuinely happy to have tourists back in numbers. The food was faultless. There are four restaurant ares to choose from, including a beach front bar area. We opted for the 'free flow' food and drinks deal, and were not left wanting. Bali Honest Driver - we used this transport service on 2 occasions - once going to Waterbom Park, and the second being a day trip to Ubud and Kuta. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. The vehicles were modern, clean and most importantly - the AC worked well, as these were both quite humid days. Both drivers spoke good english, had a great knowledge of areas and issues. It was sad to hear that both drivers had been out of work for almost 3 years, and only returning to work in the last 3 months as tourist numbers are starting to improve. In summary, would we go back - most definitely.
