What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Meet and Greet your hotel lobby and you will lead to our dive center in Tanjung Benoa – Nusa Dua. After we Arrive at Tanjung Benoa, you will check the equipment size for yourself and then travel to the dive site. The dive master will brief until you confidence to explore the marine life in calm waters off the beach. When all the instruction is done, you will do a test dive in the dive pool until you are ready to dive in the ocean. Dive in the ocean Tanjung Benoa will be the right place for you to do this amazing trip while you are in Bali. The 9 meters deep viewing of tropical fish and live coral will make your day unforgettable. You are able to dive up to 35 minutes in the water and enjoy the marine life view, but it will depend on oxygen use as well.

Despite the rain Sude drove us safely to the scuba diving place and gave us an excellent ride. The ride itself was also very interesting as Sude gave us information on balinesian tradition and it’s history during the drive which was very informative. The scuba diving location as well is great, clean, and very safe. This was my first time scuba diving but because the instructors were so kind and helpful that I was able to go underwater for the first time with no problems. This is definitely a great tour that I would recommend to any first time scuba diving. Visibility was a bit poor when we went diving but nevertheless we were able to see tons of fish and we even fed them.

The pick up and drop of to the hotel was very good. Very friendly driver. The diving was rushed. We got some information in 2 minutes, then took a 2 min test dive in the pool. After that they rushed us to a boat, dropped us in the water with another instructor and we dove for 30 minutes. There was no interaction with the crew, all felt really rushed like entering a machine. Also I am not sure if all was safe, as no one asked us how we were doing and we got so little information for our first dive. The coral was not really special in my opinion.

Amazing value. The kids are hooked! We went to Gili Air after that so it was a great intro to scuba.

My sister and I booked the Bali Fun Scuba Dive by Edy Smile Tour. Our guide's name was Edy (we believe that he was also the owner of the tour but was very humble about it). He was able to pick us up on time. While we were driving to Nusa (dive site), he was trying to engage us in conversation about scuba diving and what to expect when we get to our destination. He was also sharing his vast knowledge about the culture which was amazing as we learned a lot from him. He was very optimistic and polite which was very infectious. When we got to the venue, we were given our clothes to change in order to be trained in the pool. The one-on-one training on the pool was good as the trainer was very patient and calm. If you're able to dive and swim all the way down of the the pool and back, you will be approved to dive along with another trainer in the open water. If not, your next option will be the helmet diving which was very nice as they are willing to give you that option for your payment. When I was done with my diving, I felt dizzy for some reason (please note that this is just a personal experience which I believe most people do not feel when they're done diving). When Edy found out that I was feeling dizzy, he took it upon himself to order me a hot tea so I could feel a bit better. His gesture touched my heart as he did not have to do that but he was very considerate and had that initiative to help out. Overall, it was such a great beginners scuba experience and I was so glad that Edy was our guide for that day.
