Tirta Empul Temple is beautiful temple complex and holy mountain spring located in the village of Manukaya in central Bali. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification to cleanse their souls and ward off evil. Another nearby and prominent site on top of a hill is the presidential palace, Istana Tampaksiring, built during the years of the nation first president, Soekarno.

Kintamani Volcano has been the most favorite tourist destination in the central mountains area of Bali. The view is the main reason to come here. Day 3: The Gate of Heaven and East Bali Tour

Lempuyang Temple is believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. The heights are reachable via a steep staircase of over 1,700 steps, with attractions along the way including several other temples and hordes of grey long-tailed macaques that inhabit the surrounding cool mountain forests.

You can get it all at Virgin Beach. This location is rarely visited by tourists and less explored by local tourists. Actually, Virgin Beach has several names. Foreign tourists usually call it Virgin Beach because the beach is far from the crowds and still natural. While other foreign tourists call this beach as White Sand Beach because only this beach around Karangasem city has white sand.

Tenganan Village lies northwest of Candidasa and situated about 5 kilometers from the main road. Tenganan is a symmetrically laid out Bali Aga village with walled homes and unique crafts. Bali Aga was the original inhabitant of Bali, before the arrival of Hindu Javanese. Tenganan retains its ancient pre Hindu customs through a strong code of non fraternization with outsiders, further enforced by the protection of its surrounding walls. The village is charming and has some very fascinating authentic traditional festivals (ritual dances and gladiator) like Bali Aga of Tenganan often holds the battle between local youths. The people of Tenganan are skilled in the unique technique of weaving, called the double ikat, where the belief in the magical power of the fabric is essential in bringing out the beauty of the ikat cloth.
