Our guides are all very experienced and know all sites around Nusa Penida very well, so that they can show you the best marine life. This day trip you will be snorkelling at three different sites around the stunningly gorgeous Island of Nusa Penida, depending on sea conditions here is some of our usual dive sites; the famous Manta Point, Crystal Bay, SD

Manta point where we can have a extremely high chance of seeing Mantas in the water, they are often very shallow where they get cleaned by smaller fish.

Crystal Bay with superb corals and clear waters make this a favourite site all year around.

SD is great site with often some current on the beautiful reef that runs along northern coast of Nusa Penida. Named after the village school on the coast (Sekolar Dasar or SD means Elementary School in Indonesian), this beautiful site is one of the most popular places at Nusa Penida.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

In the morning, you will be pickup around 6.30 – 7.15 am, there will be lunch between dives; returning to our Sanur dive school at around 3.00 pm. The bus ride to board our high-speed boat is approximately 5 mins, from there the boat ride to your first snorkelling site is approximately 45 mins.

Nusa Penida has such great variety of sites for snorkeler, we think that you will want to return again and again.

**Important -
Please note that Manta Point can experience swell – small children and those sensitive to motion sickness may experience seasickness at this site. Due to surface conditions, it is not always possible to visit Manta Point. Should the conditions be unsafe, an alternative site will be chosen on the day. No refunds will be given for trips that do not include Manta Point.

    I went on a trip to Nusa Penida to the Manta Point "cleaning station" - and it was incredible! The whole thing from meeting at the dive shop to the boat ride to jumping in was very well organized and professional. My guide Kai made me feel completely comfortable. He is very experienced and you could tell he was focused on making my experience as good - and safe - as possible. The day I went was super clear, and quite shocking how close the mantas are to us snorklers! Just a few meters away, and sometimes came so close you had to avoid touching them! We also went to Crystal Bay, which was equally incredible for how much live coral there was, with a chance at seeing the Mola-Mola Sun Fish. Lunch was provided and it was good - a nice variety of food, and then back in for more snorkling. All in all, was top experience and highly recommended.

    We recently did the Manta Madness tour at Nusa Penida with Blue Season Bali and loved it. We felt comfortable with our guide who was good fun and there solely to support us during our time in the water, the boat was clean and had a toilet, we were given a delicious lunch, saw manta rays, sunfish, sea turtles, sea snakes and an abundance of fish in the extremely clear water. Overall it was an amazing experience and we would definitely book with Blue Season Bali again. Big thanks to the team.

    Wir haben als Abschluss Highlight unseres Indonesien Urlaubs die Schnorcheltour zu den Mantas und 2 weiteren Stopps gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Schon im Vorfeld sehr herzlicher Kontakt mit Maria und vor Ort waren wir eine kleine Truppe von 3 Tauchern und 4 Schnorchlern auf dem Boot. Höhepunkt war natürlich die Sichtung von 2 Mantas, aber auch die beiden anderen Stopps konnten mit Schildkröte und vielen anderen bunten und teilweise auch ziemlich großen Fischen (Riffbarsche?) punkten. Es gab dann noch leckeren Lunch an Bord und zwischendurch Tee und Kekse oder Obst. Sehr zu schätzen wussten wir dann unseren gestellten Neoprenanzug, bei den Mantas ist das Wasser kalt. Und man sollte wissen, dass die Tour wirklich nicht für Leute mit Neigung zur Seekrankheit geeignet ist. Meinem Mann ging es trotz Tabletten vorher nicht wirklich gut. Aber das Erlebnis mit Mantas zu schnorcheln war es wert ;) Ganz lieben Dank nochmal an Maria und unseren Guide (leider habe ich den Namen vergessen) für dieses wirklich tolle Erlebnis!

    Super organisiert, mega unkomplizierter Kontakt und sowas von freundlich und herzlich. Wir sind zum 2. Mal zum Mantapoint gefahren, beste Crew, bester Guide, super Equipment, coole Leute, klasse Erklärungen und mega interessantes und wissenswertes und jede MengeSpaß. Und lecker Lunch gab's auch noch. Und unser Highlight.....wir konnten sie beobachten, diese wunderschönen und eleganten Meeresriesen, Manta Rays.... traumhaft. Ich kann Blue Season Bali nur bestens empfehlen♥️ Das erste Mal 2018 und auch jetzt 2023 einfach alles tip top. Vielen Dank an die tolle Bootscrew, an Maria für die Organisation und natürlich an Zidan, coolster und lustigster Guide😊 Liebe Grüße an alle 👍🥰

    Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Es wurde für alles gesorgt und man musste sich um nichts kümmern! :) Die Bootsfahrt nach Nusa Penida war sehr holprig und nichts für Leute mit einem sensiblen Magen. Manche in der Gruppe kamen leider nicht damit klar und mussten die Tauchzeit aufgrund von Übelkeit an Bord verbringen. Der Ausflug war sehr schön, wir waren an drei verschieden Orten Schnorcheln nur leider konnten wir aufgrund der Wetterbedingungen nicht zum Manta Point. Dafür können die Betreuer natürlich nichts aber da wir alle dafür herkamen hinterließ es doch eine Spur leichte Enttäuschung :( Die erste Location war okay aber leider ziemlich überfüllt. Alle 5 Sekunden hatte man die Flossen von einem anderen Taucher im Gesicht. Die zweite und dritte Location hingegen waren super! Glasklares Wasser, bunte Korallenriffe und leuchtende Fische! Wir haben sogar ein paar Schildkröten gesehen, das hat die Enttäuschung über die Mantas auf jeden Fall wieder gut gemacht :) Alles in allem war es ein sehr schönes Erlebnis dass ich nur jedem weiterempfehlen kann :)
