The weather was cold and windy. We did not (by mistake) sign up for lunch with the tour-however, there were excellent options in Kyoto station which we were directed by our tour guide and the tour company. KC (our tour guide) was spectacular: funny, knowledgeable and kind. He spoke excellent English

The tour company had made excellent arrangements and we had an outstanding tour guide in Yoshitaka Harada with whom we have shared a photo. He kept us very well informed and ensured comfort for all in the tour group. His insights of Japanese customs, places, lifestyle and interesting aspects about Kyoto helped us understand more.

On 23 May we had an excellent one day tour with an excellent guide called Susie. We went to a variety of places in a clean air conditioned bus. It was a very interesting and cultural experience . Our guide spoke clearly and was very informative and cheerful throughout the day. Would highly recommend the tour.
