We did nit know what time the disembarkation would be, so we chose a later time. We were off the ship at 8:30am. We grabbed our luggage and went outside. To our surprise, the driver was there waiting. He took us to a Mercedes wagon, and brought directly to FCO. It was booked as a shared ride, but we were the only passengers. No up-charge, just great service.

We used the SHARED SHUTTLE service 3 times in 10 days and were very pleased! We went from the airport to the city centre, from the city to the cruise port and from the cruise to the airport. Each time, the drivers arrived early and had a sign with our name on it so that we could find them easily. Their driving skills were excellent. I read some horror stories but we experienced none of that! We allowed extra time to others to be picked up and it wasn’t needed. The price was way better than private transfers and we didn’t need to navigate lugging our luggage through a train station. I have already recommended them to friends and would definitely book them again while in Rome.

They are usually very reliable, but we were at Pier 25 but the last shuttle this time. So we had to wait until they were finished at the Terminal Americo Vespucci before they could come over to Pier 25. We are used to getting a Text message and the day before an e-mail showing the driver's contact information. But we did not get anything this time. This time, Luca was driving us, who usually works in the back office. He explained that they had a new software, and the notification did not work. But no phone call? It was no fun to wait more than 30 minutes when outside was nearly 38°C/100F in the sun without air conditioning and if everyone was on the jump to get to the airport. I hope they will improve their service again. Otherwise, I need to find an alternative service.
