Half-Day Black Canyon Kayak Tour from Las Vegas

Itinerary

Following pick-up from your approved hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, escape the city and journey by comfortable Mercedes Sprinter to the start point of your kayak adventure into the Black Canyon. Arrive at Willow Beach and prepare for the day ahead as your guides help fit you into your kayaks.

Paddle upstream into the narrow channels of the Black Canyon, and scour the banks to spot a variety of wildlife, including native Desert Big Horn Sheep, Bald Eagles and Coyote. This tour includes visits to an historical overlook with awe-inspiring views of the legendary Colorado River, a visit to Emerald Cave and viewing the 100 year old river gauging station.

Learn the history of the river and its many uses over the past 100 years from our knowledgable Guides as they lead this 4 mile out-and -back paddling tour. Enjoy a complimentary snacks and bottled water and enjoy the river as it unfolds before you.

• Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
• Swimsuits, layers, and closed toe water shoes are strongly advised.
• No lockers provided. Recommended to protect any electronics from water. Dry bags, waterproof phone cases, and other last minute needs are available for purchase at our office location.
• Requires some athletic ability but good for all skill levels.
• SELECT hotel pick-ups are offered for this tour. The local operator will help organize the closest pick up if your hotel is not on the list.

• Pick up time starts two hours before tour time.

The complimentary shuttle picks up at select hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Please ensure you are on time to your given location out of respect to other guests on tour. Failure to be on time could result in a loss of the tour without refund. These specified hotels have quick and easy access for the shuttle to get through the busy strip, so you can spend less time in traffic and more time on the river!

Travelers may also meet at the office located inside The Hoover Dam Lodge Casino. There is free parking and is last to be picked up and first to be dropped off from the shuttle.
