John was a brilliant tour guide - super knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. We learned so much in just 2 hours. It definitely added to our experience of Liverpool. Would highly recommend!

Excellent informative introduction and guide to the origins of the city of Liverpool. Very insightful and filled with interesting facts about the history of Liverpool. Definitely worthwhile And a Must for all visitors. Our Host Paul, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. TIP - would Definitely recommend visitors conduct this activity first when visiting Liverpool. Some helpful tips on who’s, activities and restaurants were also forthcoming. My wife and I can definitely recommend the scouse at Ma Boyles Alehouse in Tower Gardens

Most of the talk was static, standing still for 45 mins in the cold while a rattled off history on a monotone was delivered. In spite of advising guide that the standing was damaging my back, I had to ask again to sit down later in the walk. Walk covered very little actual mileage. Guide was knowledgeable but wasn't 100% accurate with some of his facts, eg the whole of south America was enslaved???
