This is really a stunning exhibit about British rock music. We used the headphones but ended up taking them off because they conflicted with the music being played. As well, they didn't really enhance the display and the audio wasn't in sync with it. Other than that it was fabulous.

What a wonderful British musical experience! First of all I have to say that everyone that works there was so incredibly nice and welcoming!..They were all open to questions and would even offer to take pictures of us in front of some of the many great displays! The museum is huge and even has a full size concert stage with a virtual hologram rock performance! I love the layout too because they cover British music throughout the ages going back to the 50's thru 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's to the 2000's and today. As an added bonus, that I didn't even know was in the museum, they have a fun booth-room with a historic dance instructional video that plays music with flashing lights and even has a spot for you to put your cell phone and record your dance moves from rave to disco to punk and more styles. There were also actual musical instrument booths with do-it-yourself touch screen instructional videos that teach you basics of playing an instrument! This was so much fun! You could actually pic up one of the many guitarsGibson, Fender, etc, or play drums, or keyboards and JAM! I recommend this museum to any British music fan! You'll love it! Also great location, right across the street from the Liverpool docks and 'The Beatles Story' museum!

my husband thoroughly enjoyed the experience , the only comment I would add is the hologram could be changed it was the same through the 4 hrs we were there.
I loved the hands on instrument experience , pity my husbands recording did not record.

We have heard good things about this event, however La Vacanza Travel sold us ticket for a day when it was closed due to the venue being used for a 6 Music event, not very impressed!! Luckily my wife happened to call BME to confirm booking and was told about situation, otherwise we would have travelled to Liverpool to be turned away. Can't recommend or suggest avoidance as haven't been able to attend!!
