There are many places where you may fly by a hot air balloon, but a flight in the Loire valley / France is one of the top 10 things to do in this beautiful country.

You will overfly at least one of the most beautiful castles of France: Amboise, Chenonceau, Chinon, Chaumont sur Loire… All these castles are inseparable from the history of France and its kings.

Hot air balloon flights are organised every morning and evening, if weather permits, from March to October.

Balloon tours usually start in early mornings (at about 6:00 to 9:00 am) and evenings (5:00 - 8:00 pm.). A balloon flight lasts for about 1 hour, but the entire process takes about 3-4 hours.

After a flight a small degustation of local products (wine, cheese, sweets) will be offered, then you will be "baptized" by a deep ballooning tradition, you will be granted baptizing names and titles, also the first flight certificates. Then our pilot will bring you back by a 4x4 car to the meeting or take-off site.

    This was such a beautiful and wonderful experience! The views are incredible, not only the castles but the the villages and other chateaus along the valley. We had the best pilot, Aurimas. He has flown over 2,000 flights, so he knows every detail for a safe and enjoyable flight.. Aurimas and his whole crew were amazing and incredibly efficient. Aurimas speaks many languages and therefore is able to fly with multi cultural groups which was fun. He did not skip a beat with his instructions to both the French and English speaking groups. We saw amazing views and not just from up really high, however also by skimming the horizon to where you could see details in the landscape and actually smell the nature as you flew over. At the end, our pilot Aurimas planned a picnic where we landed in a rural field. We enjoyed local wines, cheeses and meats as the sun completely set, as he provided us education on the area and history of hot air balloon flying. Truly an unforgettable experience that you must try.

    What a great experience. It’s my third time in a hot air balloon and it was great. Smooth sailing put my sister and wife at ease as it was her first time, and wife’s second. Our pilot, Aurimas, was fantastic. He’s very experienced and professional. Flew over chateaus and fields and watched the sun rise. Finished our morning with champagne and treats. Highly recommend

    The balloon ride defied expectations. Our guide and owner, Aurimas was extremely professional, fun and informative. There were a few of us skeptical and fearful of flying, but he and his team’s professionalism put as us at ease. He took incredible pictures that we bought after the flight, and when we landed, had a delicious breakfast with local delicacies and Lithuanian favorites that his wife had made. Let’s not forget the champagne afterward! 😉 He asked if we wanted to see his alpaca farm so we also got to visit his alpaca friends. We flew at sunrise which was very early (5:30 departure) but it wasn’t stifling hot in the morning. Absolutely 100% worth it!

    Our family of five (3 teenagers) had a fantastic adventure today. The views of the countryside and Chenonceau castle were amazing. The guide (Aurimas) was professional and looked after his guests very well. We enjoyed the after ride drink and snack. Overall, a once in a lifetime and unforgettable experience. A first class company.
