It was built in 1805 to represent Mount Rinjani and its crater lake, Segara Anakan, when the King of Mataram was no longer able to climb the 3,726 metre high mountain to make offerings. Walk around the temple and take plenty of photos of the beautiful water gardens of this former king's palace.
