we felt compelled to write this review after having completed the 2 day, 1 night crater rim trek with jhonoTrekking From the moment we stepped off the boat in Bangsal harbour, we barely had tp lift a finger! We were so well looked after from start to finish. Our driver took us from Bangsal to jhono Trekking office in Senaru, where we met jhono and were briefed on the trek. Adi also arranged for us to borrow some coats as we were somewhat under prepared for the cold temperatures of the crater after sunset! From there, we were taken to our delightful hotel overlooking the valley of Mount Rinjani. As we had virtually all day in Senaru, Adi also arranged for a guide to collect us from our hotel and take us to the waterfalls (a must if you have time!). After a relaxed night at our hotel and a substantial breakfast, we were collected by our guide to start the trek. At every single break along the way, we were offered more water, soft drinks, snacks and even a rehydration salt drink. The meals given to us were unbelievably tasty, and HUGE portions! This was made all the more impressive when you saw the porters who carried all of the equipment and food up the mountain in flip flops (it really is a sight to behold). Our guide was very attentive to us, and encouraged us along the way. Once at the summit, our tent was put up for us with very comfy mats and warm sleeping bags! Snacks of fried banana and popcorn were given to us, along with tea, to watch the beautiful sunset. Then, a delicious dinner after dark. Be sure, you will go to bed very FULL and very HAPPY. an early start to watch sunrise, a filling breakfast and we were on our way back down! more snacks, more drinks, another great lunch and we were back in Adi's office! We were warmly welcomed and offered a shower, before hopping in our car to be transferred to Kuta, Lombok- all courtesy of Adi. Cannot recommend this company enough, every single detail has been thought about and is delivered by friendly and welcoming people. Thank you so much Adi and co!
