Benedict was the best tour guide you could ask for. Incredibly knowledgeable, hilarious, fantastic speaking voice and didn’t dilly dally. We had an amazing time on his tour, we learned a great deal and would highly recommend you put this on your to do list. We did it on our first full day in London which I think was perfect so we could understand what we were seeing straight away. Thanks for a great experience!

I booked the Royalty with Westminster Abbey Tour. The Tour was good however when we got to Westminster Abbey the tour guide gave us a ticket for 1.30pm and the abbey was closed from 1pm on Saturdays! So no tour of the Abbey. The staff said that they had always closed at 1pm on Saturday, the ticket would be valid for 6months but that is no good when you live so far away. Some of the people in the group were from America and France. I would like a refund for the tour but haven't worked out yet how I can get in touch with the company and ask for a refund.

The most wonderful gift and John our tour guide was worth his weight in gold. The hallmarks of a true Historian and guide, bringing the most iconic london in audio and visual iconic photo shots of london alive with my son the Birthday boy inspired by the Paddington movie wanted to see Paddington’ s London . And John really delivered in this regard. Always smiling and kind and respectful. I am a photographer at heart and do not just wish to hear all but see and frame photos. I am also someone who wanted Harry my son at the heart of all these places as shown in the photos. it is his birthday after all. We phoned and discussed our plans with Geof as we purchased tickets the day before night before and we were not sure of weather. There was a storm at start so was not sure we could trust the weather We brought a brolly and comfy shoes. A changing of clothing for the dinner event. We stored these at the Ritz as we dined there. We also at 8am to 9 Am deposited our son’s birthday cake with them. So we carried nothing. That is always the best way. We did not need hats scarves gloves or coats. Itvwas a sunny magnificent day. But where do we put them whilst on tour? Well as our meeting place at the Ritz I organises with staff to take our cake and my dress and other evening 👞 shoes. As we had lunch and tea there. Worth every penny. My son he is a Harry Potter and Paddington Movie fan and recently shot up and is very tall suddenly. We wanted to celebrate his birthday in a special way as his father was away looking after granny. John was our guide and though at times with my camera I could be annoying John was absolutely lovely. Full of charm and wit and humour and history details and stories related to Royal family and an extensive Historical knowledge of the Royal family. He wished Harry and was the perfect guide for children and adults alike. Showed us the best views with history of each site from so much more than the 22 attractions listed. From Charles I, linking to Spencer History, updating us on who currently owned the Ritz darling! Many of our friends got it wrong who still had a past answer and were surprised to learn about it’s more owners. We moved on to buildings outside along side the Buckingham Parks from Ritz to Charles the II and his Stuart decedents. the Spencers, the famous front stand stone place in the movie the Crown. As we stopped and he takes time so we can take photos talking and also we can take break at a comfortable pace. It did not even feel like we had walked all of London because he did it so well and with no crowds spots which means we get the best views and photos and not so close that we can’t see the hole picture. I was hoping to give my son a Paddington experience of London and this tour exceeded those expectations. Mark, W’as not with us or our normal students that come but they as school groups would have been perfect with John. We were delighted with our time with John, he amused, entertained, and enlightened us all somewhat with our time with him. . We saw the old MI5 offices, the Winston Churchill war offices have to again in March come again. We saw the Spencer properties, Downing Street, the Changing of the Guard from many points, heading to Buckingham Palace, Changing of Guard from St James Palace Tudor very sweet. The famous 200 year old lamps that marked the Industrial Revolution. We heard some endearing tales of the various Queens throughout history. The best story Harry enjoyed was about the Queen asking the young men the other queens they get this old queen a drink. Which We all enjoyed. We saw Big Ben, Westminster and Westminster Abbey. Harry was able to join PM Borris in his party as we went passed Downing Street. He enjoyed all the in jokes. Harry is a horse rider so got to see plenty of horses and stroke them abs the magnificent parks that offered Harry parrots 🦜 came and sat on his hand if you have slices of 🍏 apples. A lady kindly offered them to Harry. John again showed much Knowlege about the wild life and showed us all that. We got to take photos with real Queen’d guardsmen 💂‍♂️. We had the best framed views to take perfect photos. Each shot was wow. Priceless. Also John ensured we all knew if where loos were located on our journey and took personal requests on board as we had to get back to the Ritz for 2 pm as 2:15 pm was last orders. We got there and were lunching by 1:30 pm. The most sad part was getting to the end as parting so soon and it being over was sad. It did not seem like we had walked through all of London as he chose perfect routes. We saw St Paul’s Nelson and Trafalgar Square in one shot frame which was just like the pop up book best shots in Paddington Movies. Not only was he a perfect guide and historian but as actor he knew all the perfect shots and angles for the best locations for the perfect videos and photos. If one was making a film abs into media this is a guide you would want to be with. I have been on many La Vacanza Travel guides and tours in Oxford, Camberidge, Stratford Ipon Avon, New York, in Venice and many parts of the USA. I can say from all my experiences this one surprisingly was the best one. It exceeded expectations. There was no gem we missed. Harry has a collection of the most wonderful photos and 🎥 and the marching Changing of the Gaurd Queens men. I will come again in March and have to suggest the same tour to other family and will introduce Mark and the family friends dentists and Such with their children. I shall suggest the tour to all our parents students and on media sites. John made Harry’s birthday perfect his best moment was having the Buckingham palace parrots sit on his hand to feed them apples. The lunch at the Ritz works out cheaper than the tea and cakes! And better than our dinner cruise meal Once you have had lunch here you will not wish the rest. The Hotel staff looked altered our cake, let’s us change shoes and kept our Bromley and boots in storage till after our dinner cruise. So yes this tour was in the heart of all the Royal action. A true Royal london guide. They were amazing and I am happy we had John. I cannot comment on Tim as he had a different group and there was a lady too. John offered to take a photo for me with my son abs it’s an amazing photo ti have. So yes 100 stars. 100 percent wonderful. The only sad part was having ti say good bye as it came to an end. Would have happily taken John for Lunch but he perhaps had another tour. We shall come on this tour again. Yes It was a wonderful Royal tour. We shall book again and again with other family and students and friends. We shall also consider taking school groups. Also John ensured after photos he had us all with him before he moved on. Just can’t say enough on how well organised he was. I think it was out of this world best guide tour than any of the other places I have ever visited.
