Step back in time to 16 th century Tudor England and be immersed in a place steeped in the
history and drama of Kings and Queens, Hampton Court Palace. From the beguiling tales of
the legendary Henry VIII and his many wives to the unusual joint rulership of William III and
Mary II. A fun, friendly and knowledgable guide will welcome you for a 2 hour experience introducing you to the extraordinary palace and fascinating insights into the lives of the Royalty
that lived at Hampton Court. We will then experience the full splendor of Afternoon Tea whilst discussing facts about our Royal family and the intriguing history behind our national drink as well as the ceremony of afternoon tea.

your guide will introduce you to the history of
Cardinal Wolsey’s creation which he gifted to Henry in 1528. We will stroll through the
courtyards that were witness to great events. Passing under Ann Boleyn’s Gatehouse where
she lived before she was executed, we will see the magnificent baroque palace, Fountain
Court, created by Sir Christopher Wren for William III and Mary II.
Our tour continues to the restored sunken gardens and then onto the vast Tudor kitchens of
Henry’s creation. Finally, we will make our way to the Tiltyard (originally for jousting) for a mouthwatering
Afternoon Tea. You will then be free to explore Hampton Court Palace’s outdoor spaces
