I did this with one friend (who took the pic) and our guide was James. We were joined by two couples and one solo traveler. It was the perfect size group for this type of activity! The bikes were great quality/well-maintained and rode smoothly with a nice basket to store your belongings on the front. Weather was on our side and it even got pretty sunny! The wind is a bit more biting on the bike so definitely layer up and if you need to strip your coat, you can! Also would recommend gloves unless you know it's going to be warm. Your knuckles will thank you! James was very funny, entertaining, and made 3.5 hours fly by! You see the sights of London (mostly Westminster/South Bank areas) with some stops for history, context, and some humorous anecdotes. James was great about keeping us engaged with questions and questions to get to know us/our preconceived notions on London. He even timed it out so we caught the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace! Just make sure you go M/W/F/Sun if that's important to you! This is an amazing "first morning in London" activity to get yourself familiar with the iconic/touristy area. It's a good value and doesn't wear you out completely like a walking tour might. The pub stop in the middle is nice for a little rest/bathroom break/refreshment and wasn't too long or too short. Heads up, you don't spend a LOT of time on the South Bank where a lot of the must sees are but he did make sure to stop and point some things out. Honestly, it would not be fun to ride along the South Bank for a long time due to the sheer amount of people walking in your way. You will not see the London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe, etc. on this tour so fair warning there. Easy to walk down there yourself after the experience ends.

James was fantastic ... there were 4 of us. He immediately learned everyone's names and began interacting with everyone. His professionalism and knowledge of the city - with many interesting and funny anecdotes held everyone's attention. His ability to navigate all the crosssings and make everyone feel safe was also impressive and allowed us to really enjoy what we were seeing and learning. The pace was just right - we stopped every few minutes to learn something new. Some parts of the Malle were closed due to the upcoming marathon and James deftly adjusted on the fly. We had a longer stop at a pub and had a drink together where the conversation was interesting and fun. The 3 hours flew by and I felt it ended too soon.... Biggest thing was the bicycle really allows you to see and feel the city that walking or a bus does not. Best thing we did all week....
